Dear Colleagues,
It is a great pleasure and privilege for us to welcome all of you to participate in the Sixth Asia Conference on Computer Aided Surgery (ACCAS 2010) which will be held in Pusan, Korea on November 26-27, 2010
For the six years of ACCAS, we have could be seeing the development of interdisciplinary healthcare related research such as Computer Aided Surgery (CAS). ACCAS which was sequentially held in Japan, Korea, Singapore, China, and Taiwan is making a contribution to the rapid improvement for the realm of medicine, medical industry and so on. I want to deeply appreciate academic researchers, clinical scientist, surgeons, and industrial partners to participate in CAS to create and study new ideas as well as the latest development.
ACCAS 2010 will be held under the auspices of the Korean Society of Medical Robotics (KSMR). This conference will provide a most appropriate platform for CAS to interact and exchange their ideas and experiences on the modern application. The conference will consist of plenary lectures delivered by leading scientists in the field, and organized sessions in important area in CAS. Topics to be discussed at the conference include surgical robotics, medical imaging, image-guided surgery, surgical planning, VR and visualization, simulation and training, etc.
We would like to thank members of the program and organization communities for their efforts, and all the participants for making the ACCAS conference possible. It is our hope that ACCAS 2010 will be academically rewarding, socially enjoyable and memorable for all.
